Rosalind recently appeared in Tucked In's production of 'Tim and Light' at the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. The story is of a young boy who adopts a beautiful cat that seems to have no home. Together he and the cat, who he calls Light, go on an incredible adventure with magical trains, enormous scary old houses, a beautiful garden and some new friends as well as a few enemies.
'It is well and enthusiastically performed by actor/puppeteers James Marlowe, Sarah-Jayne Butler, Robin Hemmings, William Donaldson, and Rosalind Steele, smoothly blending live action, marionette and shadow work, often lit only by torches which give it an extra edge of danger and excitement' British Theatre Guide - Feb 2011
'Their sophisticated puppetry and masks (designed by Beatrice Pentney ) and their innovative conversion of many household items, specifically, a very versatile chest of drawers is impressive' Fringe Review - Feb 2011
The show will be touring to several venues throughout June and July: 1st June - York Theatre Royal, 4th June - The Egg, Theatre Royal Bath, 5th June - Exeter Northcott, 11th June - Darlington Civic and Arts Centre, 24th-26th - Glastonbury, 3rd July - Tobacco Factory Bristol, 9th July - Oxford Playhouse.
